MY APPROACH

If you're stuck in patterns that aren't working, struggling in relationships, feeling disconnected from yourself or others, or trying to make sense of something difficult, together we can work out what's happening, why, and how things can change.

I work with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and the lasting effects of trauma.

We explore what is keeping you stuck: patterns that repeat, the inner voices that shape how you see yourself, the roles you find yourself in, and ways of coping that may once have helped but now create problems.

My approach is thoughtful, direct and authentic. I’ll challenge you and laugh with you.

BEGINNING THERAPY

The first phase of therapy is about understanding. I take time to get to know you: what's been happening and what's brought you here now.

From there, we find a shared focus: what we're here to understand or change. I don't rush this, because what someone leads with isn't always what's driving things.

Once that's clear, we agree how we'll work together, so the therapy has purpose and direction.
